The Loden ‹< span class = "text_cursive"> lóodën span >› is a typical Tyrolean woolen fabric.
The word "loden" can be derived from lodo , which in an archaic German translated into "bale of wool" or it can be translated into "raw fabric".
This particular fabric, with a warm and soft appearance, is very strong and long lasting. It is fulled (felted) to making the fabric waterproof, and very brushed to obtain a hairy and soft side.
For these characteristics loden has been used to make coats, cloaks, skirts and trousers since the Middle Ages.
Our passion for things well, done as they should be, with that pinch of nostalgia and that modern quid, led us to create a mini capsule composed of two models (the Gian blazer and Mario coat) in this wonderful fabric!
Loden has an incredible value, a crazy heritage: it's a real rare pearl and we hope you love it like we did!
Our MARIO coat is a long coat.
Its kimono shape, with hammer sleeves, adapts well to the fit for a one size fits all!
The wide lapel and enveloping collar make it super chic.
The belt, with the loops moved behind the back so as not to unbalance the figure on the hips, is ideal for changing the shape of the coat.
Simple line, super versatile, to wear all winter!
Pay attention: THE INNER LINING CAN CHANGE!
